I created a timeless visual identity for photographer Kotryna, designed to unify her diverse portfolio of work.

  • Brief

Kotryna sought to elevate her photography business with a brand identity that could house her expanding repertoire. The challenge was to create a cohesive visual language that felt authentic across multiple genres, such as wedding, product and travel photography, without pigeonholing her into a specific niche.

    Solution

Drawing inspiration from Kotryna’s own description of her work as a way to "portray a sense of time," I set out to design a mark that felt both contemporary and vintage. I focused on a minimalist yet personal aesthetic to ensure the branding acts as a frame for her imagery rather than competing with it. By balancing classic typography with a modern layout, I developed an identity that mirrors the timeless quality of her photography.

    Deliverables

    • Brand Identity: I developed the overarching visual concept and the general look and feel.

    • Logotype: I designed a versatile mark that works across both digital and physical touchpoints.

    • Typography & Palette: I curated a set of fonts and colors that reflect a sophisticated and artistic tone.

    • Stationery: I designed business cards and physical brand assets to enhance the premium feel of her client interactions.
