Brief
Emanas is a management consultancy company founded by sisters Mariana and Cristina Leone. Emanas bridges NGOs and non-profit organisations with potential investors in Brazil. They tasked my team to create a complete brand identity from scratch.
Solution
Leading a team of 4 Hyper Island students, I held workshops and worked closely with Mariana and Cristina to craft the Emanas brand. By finding the heart of their story we could craft a brand that resonated with both founders and clients alike.

I held a workshop were we defined Emanas’ main brand attributes:
Community Friendly Feminine
Stylescapes
Building on the brand attributes We created three stylescapes for them to choose from. They loved all three and felt that a combination of elements between 1 & 3 captured Emanas the best.
The River and thread
Midst client meetings and drafting logos we uncovered the core concept of Emanas – The Amazon River. The river’s vital role in sustaining the vibrant ecosystem around it makes for a striking connection to the sisters’ commitment to empowering NGOs all around Brazil.
Logotype
I created a custom script logo with an uninterupted line through the name building on the river theme.
